Minna Nikolova received Bachelor degrees both in Business Administration and in Political Science and at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) in Blagoevgrad. There she also did a research project on the legal basis for EU consumer protection.

Her studies at Central European University (CEU) in Budapest she finished with a MA in Southeast European Studies. Her Master thesis was entitled: "International reactions to the genocide in Bosnia and Hercegovina (1992-1995)". Right now she is completing an MAS in Peace and Conflict Studies at the European Peace University, Austria

Minna was founder of AEGEE Blagoevgrad.
