Places visited
Cluj-Napoca
Cluj is a very ancient city and, as time passed by, it developed into what we see today. Apart from being an important financial and banking centre in Romania, it is a very important cultural site, hosting one of the largest universities in Romania, Babeş-Bolyai University. One of the results of its valued reputation is the large number of foreign students who choose to study here. During the university year the streets roam with youngsters, the cafés/pubs/clubs get seriously crowded and nightlife thrives. The city is truly bustling and spreading positive and fresh energy all around! So, what are you waiting for?! Get ready to join us in ‘living la vida loca’, enjoying pub crawling and having lots of fun! Welcome to 2015’s European Youth Capital!
Brașov
Brașov attracts tourists both from the country and from abroad, artists, businessmen and politicians. Whoever visits this place can notice its special charm, with picturesque streets and shops. Regardless of the season, the visitors of Braşov have also got the opportunity to attend exceptional cultural events. Bran, Peleș and Râșnov Castles are just a few major attractions that surround the city.
Sibiu
Under the German name Hermannstadt, Sibiu has always been the centre of Romania's German minority, ever since medieval times. The cobblestone streets, the eyes of the roofs that watch your every step and gesture, the impressive churches with their elegant towers, the famous Bridge of Lies, the chic cafés, they all make Sibiu one of the most fascinating and romantic medieval cities in Romania.
Daneș ans Saschiz
Daneș and Saschiz are old villages located in the centre of the country, very close to Sighișoara, the only inhabited citadel in Europe. In the middle of nature, you will discover the genuine countryside lifestyle, in a mix of Romanian and German culture. Get ready to experience the true life of our ancestors!
