Places visited
Kyiv
Charming Kyiv is not only the capital and the largest city, but also the place where ancient buildings are combined with new ones and where visitors from all over the world are amazed by friendly and open-minded citizens. Kyiv was the historic cultural centre of the East Slavic civilization and a major cradle for the Christianization of Kievan Rus'. Moreover, famous historical architecture complexes such as the St. Sophia Cathedral and the Kiev Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of the Caves) are recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. One more reason why it worth visiting is the numerous quantity of places from hanging out with friends all day, all night!
Odessa
Odessa is a major seaport located on the northwestern shore of the Black Sea. But it is prominent for not only beaches and sunny weather. The unique and unpredictable temper of its citizens is extremely fun. The unforgettable Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater, the famous Deribasovskaya Street, monuments dedicated to Catherine the Great and visiting its huge outdoor market, the Seventh-Kilometer Market, the largest market of its kind in Europe is a must as you will not find it anywhere else! What is more, Potemkin Steps Odessa’s most iconic symbol, will guide you to the sea port and beautiful view.
Vinnytsia
Vinnytsia is unknown city for the majority of visitors, but it worth seeing! Can you believe, that this small but very nice city has Tramway network which is the part of the public transportation system that since 1913. What is more, it is the only network in Ukraine with free WI-FI. Vinnytsia also is famous for the biggest in Europe dancing fountain and chocolate factory which produces delicious sweets for Ukraine and its neighbors.
Kamenetsk-Podilsk
Kamyanets-Podilsky is one of the most ancient cities on the Smotrych River in western Ukraine. Only one famous historical place of more than 200 - Kamyanets-Podilsky Castle - attracts visitors all over the world. From the early 1914 it is the place where movies were shot and the beautiful castle became a well-known and loved place of many tourists. It is also the favorite place of street fire, ancient festivals’ fans as during them the spirit of the Ukrainian history is everywhere.
Lviv
Lviv is the last but no the least place you should visit while being in Ukraine. It is the capital of the historical region of Galicia and now is regarded as one of the main cultural centres of today's Ukraine. Tasty smell of coffee and chocolate, cobblestone roads and old buildings which are combined with unique and surprising restaurants and pubs and all this dressed with the history – you will get it all in August.
