Ideal participant
The ideal participant is someone who loves to interact with people and is not afraid to find himself in an awkward position, but rather enjoys the smiles that come from it. You should also not be afraid to act and dress up, since some of the activities are going to be thematic and you might end up wearing nothing more than a loincloth. An interest for sharing your culture, enjoying the nightlife and being able to sleep just a few hours per day is also a plus. But this is just obvious that you come to a Summer University to get new experiences rather than to sleep the whole long.

Places visited
Maribor
Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia with a bit over 100.000 inhabitants, who lived in beat with the river Drava for ages. The city is surrounded by the Pohorje hill on the south and Kozjak hill range on the north. East of it lies the Slovenske gorice, one of the most fertile wine regions in Slovenia. It is a university city, with over 20.000 students living and studying here. It is famous for its rich cultural and nightlife events because of all the galleries, museums, cinemas, theatres, etc. It offers various options for youngsters, either to be part of exciting cultural life or to spend their time working out by jogging to Piramida, skiing at Pohorje, hiking to Urban, etc. In 2013 Maribor holds the prestigious title European Youth Capital and offers even more exciting, fun and educational events for young people, which will most definitely leave an imprint on all who visit Maribor. One of the main attractions of Maribor is also the Lent Festival, the biggest summer festival in the region, with 28 stages and amazing concerts, theatre, stand-up, dance and other cultural activities.
Keszthely
On the way from Slovenia to Balaton we will spice your trip with an unforgettable historical tour in Keszthely. The city is located in the north-western end of Lake Balaton, one of the biggest lake of Central Europe. Keszthely gives home to the unique palace of Festetics family from the baroque ages.
Siófok
In every country, there is a town close to water, which collects the young folks, to help them forget the monotonicity of the everydays. In Hungary this place is called Siófok. During the day you can enjoy the water and the refreshing wind of the Balaton, but at night our way leads out of the rooms, because the city starts to breathe after the sunset. Its long streets full with bars and clubs help you to don’t worry about tomorrow.
Pécs
Pécs is the "borderless city" of Hungary which can be found in the south-western region of the country approximately 200 kilometres far from Budapest. Pécs have always been a multicultural city which is melting different values of the history of two thousand years. In 2007 Pécs was third, in 2008 it was second liveable city (The LivCom Awards) in the category of cities between 75-200 thousand inhabitants. In 2010 Pécs was selected to be the European Capital of Culture sharing the title together with Essen and Istanbul. After receiving the title major renewal started in the city. Renewed public places, streets, squares and neighbourhoods, new cultural centres, a concert hall, a new library and a cultural quarter were designed. It was recently chosen by The New York Times as the 38th place to visit in 2013 thanks to its lively atmosphere and modernity. Pécs is also a real university city hosting the oldest university in Hungary with its 30,000 students.
Szigetvár
Szigetvár is small historical town 40 kilometres far from Pécs. It is famous about its medieval castle which was built by the Turkish after they occupied the original one in 1566. After some hours spent here with a visit and some traditional archery we are heading to the local spa that is extremely visited by tourist and by those who want to take a rest from the summer heat.
