Charlemagne Youth Prize 2017

Is with utmost pleasure that we announce you that the Summer University Project has been selected as the national winner of Slovakia in the Charlemagne Youth Prize 2017 competition. Read the official announcement!

The Charlemagne Youth Prize is organised by the European Parliament and the International Charlemagne Prize Foundation in Aachen and is awarded each year to projects run by young people aged between 16 and 30. The winning projects should provide models for young people living in Europe and offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community.

 The Summer University Project strives for integration and understanding among the multiculturality of Europe.. 

Bridging Europe

In 2016 it gave the opportunity to over 4000 europeans to see different parts of the continent, meet other youngsters and learn new skills and abilities together. Since 1988 more than 100.000 people participated in Summer Universities, which took place in over 260 cities in more than 40 European countries, making it the biggest volunteer-based mobility project in Europe.
