A full dish of Sicilian Culture
MESSINAMessina sits across the Strait of Messina, that divides the rest of Italy from the Island of Sicily.
Mother Nature has created a masterpiece here, painting the gorgeous sea into its background.
Nature also one of this area's biggest highlights, extraordinary under a limpid sky and sitting above marine depths where another world waits to be explored. So much like a kaleidoscope of hues, the sea changes from nocturnal blue to crystalline defined by slight blue veins.
LIPARI & VULCANOYes! This is happening! And if you don't know what or how they are these islands... the best way to describe them it's like: you just found a treasure with the name “Sicily” and inside of it you find other shiny treasures called “Eolian islands”, I guarantee you these Islands are pure magic inception
TAORMINAA true jewel to visit, with its unique old theatre (which is the second biggest classic theatre of Sicily),its pictoresque streets and of course the amazing 'postcard like' panoramic views.
PALERMOVisiting Palermo is still somewhat of an adventure in a world where so many places have become tourist-friendly to a fault. Some parts of the old town centre have remained untouched since they were bombed during the war. There are many back streets that have only just opened up to those from without and it is still often difficult to obtain any information worth having. However, this is also a stimulus to those who wish to embark on a little adventure, to discover things for themselves, to dig into the very fabric of the city and to try to understand what really makes Palermo (and its people) tick.
CEFALU'Cefalù is a little town near the sea with a beautiful harbour, from which it is possible to observe the characteristic front of the picturesque town and from which it is possible to keep an eye on the historical arcs. The town seems to be entrapped between the sea and the headland which in the past were used as a protection of the town.
