Currently AEGEE is also running several projects, which are discussing or promoting educational topics.
UNIDEBATE
The Debate on the Future of Europe has started in March this year. Several actors
are involved in the discussion. This project - organised by AEGEE, ESIB, ESN
and JADE - aims at involving the academic world in the discussion about the
Future of Europe.
EURECA
This year-long project consists of several actions aimed at gathering the opinion
of students, getting the opinion of experts and presenting its results to decision
makers in the field of European education. Its topic is the Future of Educational
systems in Europe and its ultimate goal is to propose to the European decision
makers the students' vision on the future community programme on education.
ONE
MILLION ERASMUS CELEBRATION
In 2002 the 1 000 000 Erasmus student has left his/her homecountry. For this
AEGEE, ESN and ESIB have planned a Europe-wide celebration and further promotion
of Socrates/Erasmus. More information will be coming soon.
SOCRATES ACTION WEEK
This project has a long history in AEGEE. It was introduced in 1997 and at that
time it had a great impact on the promotion of Socrates amongst European students.
Since then every year AEGEE has been dedicating one week to promote this mobility
programme through various open activities. In 2002 the project has been merged
with the "One Million Erasmus Celebration".

EDUCATION
WORKING GROUP
The Working Group is tackling several contemporary issues related to Education.
It is coordinating the Socrates Action Week and is also involved in the Bologna
Process.
