The Essay Contest gives you the opportunity to express your own visions, to highlight or tackle problems related to the mobility of European citizens. Write an Essay in English of about max. 600 words on one of the following four topics: - "Mr. President, distinguished members of the European Parliament(…)" - prepare a speech on the obstacles to the free movement of students, workers or citizens in general, to be delivered at the session of the European Parliament. - Your Vision of a Borderless Europe - How to overcome Borders in Europe? (possible topics to be discussed: Politics, Economy, Society and Culture) - How can Internet contribute to the creation of a borderless Europe?* Essays have to be handed in between the 1st of October and the 28th of February 2001 to: A Jury, consisting of three persons, will analyse the delivered essays and give out the awards for first, second and third place.
