My name is Julia and I am based in Brussels, Belgium. I joined the AEGEE Election Observation quite in the beginning and I am amazed at how much the project has grown since its beginnings. I joined the first Election Observation Mission of the project to Ukraine in 2014 and since then I am convinced that this project offers young people a great opportunity to experience democracy first-hand. In Brussels, I am assisting Rebecca with her work as partnership and external relations director. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg and a Master’s degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin, Poland. Currently, I am working for the think tank network Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA), where I am mostly involved in a research project on EU – Central Asia relations. I am also part of the pool of German elections observers.
