Amsterdam Amsterdam is the capital and most popular and unique city of the Netherlands. All though it is not the seat of the Dutch government, which is The Hague. The city is located in the province of North Holland in the west of the country next to the river IJ. It had a population of over 800.000 people. We will do a lot of awesome activities and show you this beautiful city with many famous canals, bikes, museums, water and an exciting nightlife. The city with six windmills, 2.500 houseboats and more bikes than people. It's also the most diverse city in Europe with 180 different nationalities and 45 per cent ethnic minorities which contributes to the varied and lively culture. After five days in Amsterdam we will go to Utrecht by hitchhiking competition!
UtrechtUtrecht lies at the heart of the Netherlands. It has a city center with a medieval atmosphere and beautiful canals. Utrecht has one of the oldest universities and is a home to many, many students. Thanks to the student culture Utrecht also has a vivid nightlife. Come and explore intercultural communication by joining active events and activities the Dutch way. Experience Dutch crazyness, bikes, parties, adventure, and “gezelligheid”.
