Barcelona

Think about of the coolest city you have visited. Then think about your ideal summer. You got it? Alright, stop dreaming and wake up! This city exists and the summer you’re dreaming of it’s waiting for you! All you need is Barcelona: a city with mountain and sea that you will experience from all its sides. Enjoy the beach while you’re sunbathing and feeling the breeze in your skin or feel the freedom when you see the views of Barcelona from the top of a mountain.
Walk through the streets of Barcelona, where you will experience the different cultures as it is a very multicultural and cosmopolitan city with a lot of history: you will sightsee from Roman buildings to a gorgeous and vibrant Gothic Quartier that hides lots of stories in its streets. Not to forget about Antoni Gaudí, our best-known architecht who created masterpieces like the Sagrada Família or the Park Güell.
There’s a saying that whoever visits Barcelona comes back again… That fact added with some doses of AEGEE spirit, will make your five senses go crazy: you don’t want to miss the endless nights, some paella with sangria, and lots of sports!
Remember: you only live once!

Montserrat

One of the most visited mountains in Catalonia, characterized by its multi-peaked form. Near Barcelona, it’s typical to go hiking and finish the excursion visiting the famous Black Virgin (la Moreneta) in the sanctuary.

Camí de Ronda

Camí de Ronda is the name of an extense trekking route through the cliffs from the Brave Coast (La Costa Brava). The route is divided in more than 30 parts, and the one chosen starts in Sant Feliu de Guíxols and ends up in Platja d’Aro. This seven-kilometres outing will allow you to see the georgeous landscape of the northern catalan coast, swim in clear blue water and gaze at an incredible wildlife.

Figueres

Figueres is another important city in the northeast of Catalonia. One of the most well-known surrealist artists, Salvador Dalí was born in Figueres, for this reason his museum is located in the centre of the city. Moreover, there is Saint Ferran’s Castle (Castell de Sant Ferran), the biggest monument of Catalonia and one of the most oustanding fortress in the world.

Girona

Girona is a city in the northeast of Catalonia. The old town stands on the steep hill of the Capuchins to the east of the river Onyar. The colourfull houses next to the river, the ancient cathedral and its stairway, the old fortifications and the Jewish Heritage are the main sights.
