Teror One of the oldest municipalities of the archipelago, it is very important for the islanders for being the place where the Virgin of the Pines (Patron Saint of Las Palmas Province) appeared in 1481. Every September, people from every part of the island go in pilgrimage Teror to pay back for the wishes the Virgin has come true.
MaspalomasPlaced in the south of the island, it is the main tourist place. From Maspalomas Lighthouse, to Playa del Inglés, we have a total of 5.600 meters of breathtaking beaches. On one side of the beach we can find Maspalomas Lake and Maspalomas Dunes, all of them recognised as natural protected areas.
AgaeteIt is a small fishing village placed in the northwest of the island, and one of the most visited places in Gran Canaria during the summer thanks to the most popular celebration in the island. We can also find “El Puerto de Las Nieves” from which we can see the “God’s Finger”, a rock formation which emerged from the sea creating the appearance of a finger pointing to the sky.
