Udine

Udine is in the heart of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and, thanks to its border position with Austria and Slovenia, it was the pathway to Italy for all barbarian tribes and armies throughout centuries; this is also the reason for its great cultural diversity. One of its peculiarity is its dialect: Friulano is a language spoken only in the province of Udine. In Udine we will see the inheritance of the Republic of Venice and also the famous Castel: a legend wants it to be built for Attila, kings of the Huns, in order to see Aquileia burning from a high observation point. Despite being quite close to the mountains, Udine is definitely not far from the sea as well: you will have the chance to sunbathe in Lignano, one of the most famous beaches on the Adriatic sea.

Brescia

Little known city with an interesting and varied historic heritage which is the core of a prosperous industrial powerhouse. Walking through the old town you will be drawn to the gems hidden among its narrow streets, the castle, the Roman forum, lots of charming squares and its lively arts scene and nightlife.

Venice

Whatever you could say about Venice it will never be enough to describe its beauty! Particularly loved by sweethearts and artists, Venice is a true jewel built on a quiet lagoon, famous for hundreds of reasons, from the gondolas along its canals, its countless bridges and enchanting squares to its glamorous festivals, like the world-famous Carnival and the International Film Festival. Believe us, you will leave a piece of heart among the labyrinthine calli (streets) and its mysterious palaces!

Lignano Sabbiadoro

A haven of relaxation and all kinds of fun: that is the essence of Lignano! It is the main sea resort of the region, which attract tourists from many neighboring countries for the great beaches and fun nightlife. Sabbia d'oro means "golden sand" in Italian! The town is divided into three zones, each with its own particular traits: the historic centre, rife with shops and restaurants (Lignano Sabbiadoro itself); the greener area of Lignano Pineta, with lovely gardens and lanes for strolling; and Lignano Riviera, the waterfront, rich in salty sea air and coastal pines. Most known sites are Terrazza a Mare (terrace on the sea), the pine forest, numerous theme parks such as Aquasplash (in which we'll go!), and the Zoo.

The prealps

A few kilometres (of hairpin bends) away from Brescia you will end up in a completely different world. Following quiet trails through meadows and woods you'll have the chance to admire breathtaking natural sceneries, jump into freezing mountain lakes, visit organic farms, cuddle the lovely animals that live up there and... you never know, every turn of the path might hide a big surprise!
