Istanbulit is where the civilizations and continents meet. The only city in the world standing on two continents, Istanbul, is a connection between southeastern of Europe and Asia via three bridges. Apart from this complicated, historical and multicultural way of Istanbul, colourful nightlife with breathtaking landscapes of Bosphorus, shopping with over 4000 shops just in Bazaar, food and drink with lots of cuisine cultures dominate Istanbul today. Main streets of Istanbul show the architecture of it and lead to a nostalgic aspect of past and present. This is still the “Wonderful Megapolis” with its variety, social and cosmopolitan structure and lots of monuments and buildings.
Prince's IslandsIslands are the coast of Istanbul in the Sea of Marmara where were used for exile areas during Byzantium times for princes and Ottoman times for sultans family. Consisting of 4 large islands that are “Büyükada, Kınalı, Heybeli and Burgaz”, these are ones of the most popular destinations to swim and have BBQ during summer. Due to no traffic in islands, the only transportations ways are by horse and cart and by foot. To reach islands from Istanbul, a short ferry trip is a requirement.
ŞileEven though it is in the Marmara Region, it has a coast on the Black Sea. It is the perfect place for getting away from the chaos and crowd of the city.
