Bilbao: Aste Nagusia

Bilbao, with over 1,000,000 inhabitants, crowns itself as the main cosmopolitan city in the area, made up with a different variety of art galleries, remarkable buildings and the magic attached tothe Seven Streets, the original nucleus of the city. As a representation of these, you will find our worldwide known festival: Aste Nagusia, where people from all over the country join to discover the Basque culture and celebrate the end of the summer.

San Juan de Gaztelugatxe

San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is a really must in your visit, a tiny islet in the coastal of Bermeo, connected to the mainland by a stone bridge. At a point, the bridge turns into an endless footbridge leading to the top of the rock, where the famous worldwide series “Game of Thrones” was filmed. Remember Dragonstone?

Gernika is a small village replete of symbolism and significance for Basque people, due to its democracy and historic memory. The town where the first Basque Premier was sworn, the place where the story of the bombing and destruction inspired Picasso to paint one of its masterpieces.

Sopelana, known as a meeting point for surfers and adventure sport players, provides its beautiful beaches and cliffs to create the perfect atmosphere and enjoy the basque coast in its magnificence.
