Organized by AEGEE-Brno

How To Train Your Inner Dragon Profile Picture
Do you want to become a leader and develop yourself?
Are you willing to try new things and push your skills to the limit?
And the most important. Do you want to have fun and enjoy the summer of your life?
Then join us in Brno and find out “How to train your inner dragon”! This year we bring you the only SU that focuses on leadership and team work. Look forward to the outstanding interactive workshops and sessions delivered by the amazing trainers from the AEGEE-Academy. „Does it mean that we will have to spend the whole day sitting somewhere in the classroom?” Not at all! The training includes many practical activities and simulation games where you can practise everything you`ve learned during the sessions and much more.
But there is more to add. The city of Brno is famous for its night life, student inclusivity and decent prices (it was actually 2 times in the row voted by the students as one of the top 5 student cities in the world!) and you can reach all of that easily as the accommodation will take place in the city centre. You can also look forward to the trip to the southern Moravia, the wine region of the Czech Republic with one of the most beautiful sights from the whole country – the chateau in Lednice is part of UNESCO. And the trip will take the whole 5 days!!!
And what about the activities? There is something unique waiting for you in Brno. Have you ever tried dragon boats, visited a lama centrum or learned how to dance traditional Moravian dances during WS with wine and live music included? If not, don`t hesitate and apply for this awesome experience.

The capital of the Moravian region and the second biggest city of the Czech Republic. Brno is a student city, which population consists by more than 20 % of university students. Together with original pubs, cosy cafés, decent prices, friendly people and perfect places for chilling you got all the pieces that made Brno one of the greatest student cities in the world. Also, Brno is not eaten up by tourists so you can experience an authentic Czech city. Be prepared to taste a famous delicious Czech beer - in restaurants a large beer is cheaper than a small bottle of mineral water!

In the midst of some stunning countryside strung with vineyards lies Mikulov in the shade of its own castle. Here you can admire some of the many historic sites the town offers or enjoy a glass of superb wine. In short, Mikulov is a town you definitely shouldn’t miss on a journey through South Moravia.

Dolní Věstonice

Dolní Věstonice is a small village in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It is known for a series of ice age archaeological sites in the area, including the oldest permanent human settlement ever found by archaeologists in the entire world. These sites were used by mammoth hunters, and finds include a triple burial and the Venus of Dolní Věstonice.

You can't find many places in the world which have received such care as the elegant area around the spectacular Lednice and Valtice chateau. An absolutely unique park has been created here over the centuries, full of rare tree species, romantic little buildings, fishponds and beautiful little corners. The Lednice-Valtice Complex, which has been included in the UNESCO list, is known as the Garden of Europe to this very day.

There aren’t many places in the Czech Republic that can boast such a beautiful and diverse landscape as the Pálava Hills, with their snow-white rocks, springtime mosaic of blooming steppes and vineyards spanning across sun-drenched hillsides.
