Jewish - Non Jewish European Encounter
One of the issues that was raised throughout the meetings was the Jewish – Non Jewish German/European relations in light of the Holocaust. Some participants had
expressed their feelings that this issue has influenced their perception of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and increased mistrust amongst the parties to this conflict. The participants remarked that this
perspective was never really dealt with in an emotional and psychological perspective. A number of proposals were made as to dealing with the issue separately, at a different context and within other
frameworks.
