Apply for Erasmus+ with AEGEE Election Observation

– for AEGEE Locals only –

Are you still looking for an interesting project in your Local between October and December 2016?

Apply now as host Local for the 2016 edition of the AEGEE Election Observation Training!

Just like in 2015, the 2016 Training will bring together around 24 young people (aged 18-30 years) from different European countries to receive a basic education in the principles and methods of international election observation. It will take 8 days (7 nights). The exact dates depend on your convenience.

The task of the host organisation is to arrange the following things:

  • accommodation;
  • workshop rooms;
  • food;
  • materials;
  • social programme.

Please note that this project will be fully funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. We are working to get a grant of around 20,000 Euro to cover all costs. As our host organisation, you would figure as the applicant organisation in this application.

This does not mean extra work for you, as we will write the application and take care of everything – including the final report. But it does mean that you will be in charge of the financial administration of the project. If the application is successful, the money will be transferred to your account. Drafting the programme, selecting trainers and preparing the participants will remain our responsibility, but we will always ask for your opinion and input.

If you are interested, please fill in this form, and send it back to Zahía Guidoum at zahia.guidoum@aegee.org not later than Saturday, 12 March, 23:50 CET.

The 2015 experience shows that this Training is not only very intense and instructive, but also a lot of fun for all people involved – you may ask AEGEE-Köln (our 2015 host organisation) for details.

We look forward to hearing from you!
