Apply now as Mission Coordinator for the EOM Catalonia!

The AEGEE Election Observation project is looking for two motivated youngsters to lead our upcoming EOM to the parliamentary elections in Catalonia, Spain, taking place on September 27th, 2015.

The EOM takes place from Thursday, September 24th (arrival to Barcelona) till Tuesday, September 29th (departure). Mission Coordinators (“MCs”) are required to arrive on Wednesday, September 23rd for preparation activities.

MCs will take care of EOM agenda (including meeting with electoral stakeholders in the host country), logistics (liaising with local partners, accommodation, internal transportation of observers) and coordinate observers’ research tasks. On the basis of observers’ research, MCs will draft EOM Final Report. For a more detailed overview of MC tasks see here.

The EOM Catalonia is piloting a new observation methodology that takes into account the role of young people in the elections observed. Implications of the resulting tasks will be developed together with the MCs selected.

In general, our EOMs are organised on a 100% voluntary basis and do not involve any remuneration. We are currently trying to find financial support in order to cover travel expenses, which we can however not guarantee yet.

Please apply here. The application deadline is Tuesday, July 21st at 23:59 CET.

We look forward to your applications!
